Position Summary
An experienced Account Executive in transportation sales to generate new and maintain current customers.  Applicant should have experience in Domestic Trucking, Domestic Air Freight and International Air and Ocean Freight,
 
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Generate new business through cold calling & face to face sales meetings. Build relationships & assess client needs.
  • Present sales proposals to potential clients.
  • Responsible for recording and maintaining accurate weekly sales expense report.
  • Requires daily coordination with operations and customer service departments to ensure most efficient service expectations are being met.
  • Abides by procedures to the TSA and other security requirements
 
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Self-starter/Entrepreneur who is highly motivated to succeed and maximize profits.
  • Excellent listening and analytical skills.
  • Strong verbal, written communication and presentation skills.
  • Self-disciplined, strong leadership and motivational abilities.
  • Creative ability in developing sales strategies and solutions in presenting innovative solutions to customers.
  • Generate sales quotations and bids daily.
  • Microsoft Office applications experience.
  • Previous experience within transportation sales industry is required.
  • Previous experience with Air Freight and International Freight Sales is an advantage.
  • Ideal candidate is hungry, enthusiastic, aggressive cold caller who can establish long term relationships.
 
Compensation:
  • Competitive Base salary commensurate with experience and proven track record:  Salary could can range from $40K to $100K+ depending on the experience you bring to the table, they are happy to pay for Top Talent!
  • Progressive Commission structure that rewards growth and maintaining good and profitable business.
