National Business Development Manager – E-Commerce Delivery Solutions
(Home Office Opportunity, You can live anywhere in the Eastern third of the country)
 
My client is a clear leader in Final Mile Logistics Services for leading B2B and E-Commerce product providers.  They provide Businesses and Consumers with timely, accurate and professional delivery services.  They have been in business for over 30 years.  They are profitable, well run and experiencing tremendous growth in this rapidly growing E-Commerce economy.  They are looking to add an additional National Business Development Manger to their team.  This person must be interested in a value based, customer oriented, high growth and fast paced organization and have a passion to accelerate their career with this opportunity. 
 
You will be a driving force for generating new sales leads and revenue targets.  The National Business Development Managers focuses purely on establishing new strategic business relationships with mid and senior-level executives in non-client organizations within a specific set of assigned accounts. In this role you will own the entire sales cycle, from generating interest and presenting solutions, to negotiating and closing contracts. You will be calling on the largest retail/ecommerce companies that exist, and success in this role relies on being resilient and having the ability to quickly develop strategic relationships with clients in order to match their goals to the companies’ solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify key decision makers and develop strategic relationships to drive revenue
  • Penetrate large, complex organizations
  • Own the entire sales life cycle, from prospecting to close, including contract negotiation
  • Attend industry trade shows and conferences
  • Utilize internal sales enablement tools and management processes
  • Employ business development best practices developed through collaboration with peers and other internal teams
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 10 years direct sales experience, with experience in the transportation/logistics field preferably within the parcel/e-com space, and with a demonstrated track record of overachieving
  • A strong communicator, able to develop and conduct effective presentations with mid and senior-level executives that maximize the value delivered by company solutions
  • Familiar with the sales life cycle, from prospecting to close, and always looking forward to your next engagement
  • Experience in transportation/logistics required (Excellent success in a related industry may be considered)
  • Ambitious, driven, and motivated to be successful
  • Ability to work independently and entrepreneurially in a remote location (home office)
  • Some travel required
Compensation:
  • Significant Base Salary ($100-120K Commensurate with experience is the Target)
  • With Bonus Structure, minimum income is expected to be $180K for successful candidates and earning potential is uncapped.
