My client is a very successful privately owned regional asset based Trucking Company and Truckload Brokerage located in the Cincinnati Ohio area. They have built up a consistent and substantial business over the last 30 years and are experiencing significant growth.  With this growth they are looking for an experienced Freight Brokerage Sales Representative to add to their team and help drive future growth and success. 
 
This is a Base Salary Plus Commission/Incentives opportunity and there will be no cap on what you can make, the sky is the limit!  First year income will be $65-$85K and only go up from there.  Year two expectations should be $85K - $100K +.  If you are a current active Freight Broker with daily business (loads) we can easily calculate what your income would/could be with our plan.  We are of course realistic about what it takes to bring business over; it usually takes a while to get customers to switch if they do at all and we get that!
 
If you are not experienced in Freight Brokerage but have an outgoing personality and are driven to succeed both professionally and financially they are very willing to train you!
 
Job Responsibilities:
This is a straight brokerage operation and you must have 2-5 years experience in the business.  As with all successful brokerage operations you must be familiar and comfortable with the following:
  • Working in a fast paced and multi-tasking environment.  You must be strong under pressure.
  • Must bring a consistent great attitude and a “can-do mentality” to the job every day.
  • You must be able to make good and profitable business decisions and also balance making sure the customer is completely satisfied.
  • You will actively solicit new business on a daily basis to help drive growth and your income.
  • Duties in addition to sales to include operational functions related to dispatching drivers, getting rate quotes, negotiating rates, matching freight with available resources, developing new business and customer service activities

Compensation:
  • Base salary commensurate with experience
  • Commission and incentive plan with no caps
