           My client is a global manufacturer of rail fastenings & systems. Their goal is to deliver the world’s best rail track solutions. They combine leadership and R&D with specialization in rail fastening products and installation. They also provide track engineering, maintenance and analysis, noise and vibration
           reduction, and rail electrification.
 
Job purpose and Scope:
 
           Responsible directly / indirectly for Finance, Accounting, IT and Risk Management functions.
 
Responsibilities:
 
  • Direct with overall responsibility for administration of all local and divisional policies related to financial reporting and analysis, treasury management, forecasting, budgeting, employee benefits, IT, risk management and internal controls for North America.
  • Manage the annual budgeting process and prepare presentation of annual budget to my client’s divisional management.
  • Provide supporting financial analysis and monthly dashboards to management. Routinely and proactively review opportunities and concerns within the finance performance.
  • Participate in setting broad organizational goals, objectives and policies, particularly with product pricing & margins, cost management, capital investment, personnel policies & organizational structure.
  • Ensure compliance with Federal & State laws regarding company employment & benefits policies
  • Initiate & maintain relationships with various banking institutions to the Business Unit’s treasury management and employee benefit plan requirements in coordination with Group Treasury.                                   
Requirements:
 
         
  • Transportation experience (helpful but not required)
  • College Degree (advanced degree, helpful but not required)
  • Commutable distance to Memphis
  • CPA preferred but experience can offset it
  • 5-10 years of experience at mid to senior level.
  • Experience must have 5 to 10 years at mid to senior level to include the following:
  •    O Accounting, including tax and treasury aspects. Planning & analysis are not enough in this area.
       O Manufacturing environment
       O International environment, needs to have reported into a consolidation system, not necessarily but ideally under IFRS.
       O Commercial experience: price / margin / terms setting and contract reviews
       O Financial reporting, planning, analysis and modelling
  •    O  strong interpersonal, communication, leadership and organizational skills

  • Salary: $125K – $145K (TBD by pay history & experience)
